St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Parish Complex is a historic Roman Catholic church complex located in Buffalo in Erie County, New York. The complex consists of a Lombard-Romanesque Revival basilica style church (1911–1913), a Queen Anne style rectory (1895), and a school completed over three phases in 1895, 1906, and 1956. The church measures 156 feet in depth and 67 feet in width. It is two and one-half stories high and topped with a low-pitched red clay tile roof. A large rose window is centered on the front facade. It features a prominent campanile rising roughly 114 feet.[2]
After it was announced that the parish that formerly occupied the complex would be closing,[3] the Buffalo Religious Arts Center, a museum that collects religious artifacts from closed churches in Buffalo, bought and currently occupies the property.[4][5]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.[1]
